PHOTO TIPS

Your digital painting will look best if you send me a high resolution photo of your pet. The picture of the cat was taken at a high resolution, so when I zoom in it looks nice and crisp. The picture of the dog was taken at a low resolution and all I can see is pixels.

High Resolution,

perfect for a digital painting!

Low resolution,

not so good...

  • The best pet pictures are the ones where they look right into the camera.

  • It usually looks nicer when you can see both eyes.

  • Light is important, avoid pictures with harsh dark shadows in their face.

  • In most cases a picture you took with your cell phone is perfect.

  • Avoid using your zoom to take the picture.

  • Email the photo as big as possible.

  • Don't compress the picture or reduce the size in your email.
